A little about me:

Hello!

I have been training horses for several years in the Bryan/College Station area. I was given the opportunity to train with several local horse trainers in Central Texas over the years before traveling and training full time with NCHA cutting horse trainers. I was offered a job here in College Station and came back to work for State Farm Insurance but have continued training horses part time. Last year I was accepted as a trainer to compete in the 2008 Extreme Mustang Makeover Idols Division in Fort Worth, Texas and won my division with my 3 year old mustang gelding “TAZ”.  We had a ton of fun and Taz has found a wonderful new home with his new 14 year old owner Kirsten of Sequin, Texas.

I also have horses "For Sale" periodically throughout the year so please check back with me.

LOCATION:

I am location in the Bryan/College Station area in Central/East Texas. I work in College Station, Texas for State Farm Insurance, as an Insurance Account Representative/Sales Rep. I am fully licensed in Property/Casualty and Life/Health along with Bank certifications.

I have 2 rotten puppy dogs; a 7 year old Leopard Catahoula (Haliegh) and a 1 year old Weimeraner/Pitbull Cross (Sarita). I raise Peppy San Badger bred horses along with Doc Bar lines.  The facility I train out of is located North of the Bryan/College Station are in Wheelock, Texas.

OTHER MUSTANGS:

I have adopted 2 other mustangs from the BLM over the past few years. My first mustang gelding (Baystar) is now about 15 years old. I have taught kids riding lessons off of him, the Girl Scouts have used him as a “project” horse and I would let the most inexperienced person crawl on him. He is a great horse, very intelligent, quite and a very easy keeper. The 2nd mustang I adopted was a little mustang dun mare (Shiloh). She is not a smooth mover, and so not comfortable to ride, so she is pasture art. I have bred her twice and sold both of her colts for a nice amount as they were very hardy, smart, very laid back attitude, with tons of personality. Both mustangs are now living in South Texas on my mom’s ranch where life is nice and quiet for them.
