Quarter Horse Training

Taz was my first mustang competition horse and he was a blast!

Donna and I took “Pal” and “Goose” to an ACTHA ride on Saturday. This was Gooses first real outing and away from the training facility and he did fantastic with everything. There were so many new sights to see and lots of people, horses and activity. Goose went thru the entire course but the mailbox had it in for Goose and he was not going to get to close to it. It was a lot of fun. Donna and Pal were outstanding and placed 2nd in the Pleasure Division. Congrats! They did awesome!

Goose had his first ride today and was great! I am so happy with him. Will have photos soon!

Grey Goose "Goose" will be getting his first ride this weekend! YEAH- SUPER EXCITED!!! I will post photos from our weekend on Sunday- so be sure to check back. "Goose" and I have had lots of ups and downs and we are finally on the same page and making progress now. Can't wait to get going with him - January is creeping up very fast!
